Rudy Kumar press release, candidate for Mayor of Clovis 2008 

Rudy Kumar came to Clovis a late last year for a business venture. In a surprise twist of fate Kumar has decided to use his innovate skills and experience to join the run for Mayor of Clovis. Kumar’s education and experience have prepared him to lead the people of Clovis securely into the 21^st Century. 

Rudy Kumar’s educational training started when he was in the United States Army. He attended the University of Maryland while serving in Germany. After his honorable discharge he went to Southland College where he graduated with honors as a Respiratory Therapist. Later Kumar attended the Excelsior College Nursing Degree Program, however he changed directions and attended Western California College majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Curriculum Development in 2004. He is also a CPR instructor and Advance Cardiac Life Support Training Instructor affiliated with Mount San Antonio College in Walnut California since 2006. In conjunction with that Kumar is a provider of continuing education training for nurses and other medical personnel with the Board of Registered Nursing in California since 2001. Overall Rudy Kumar is an educator, a trailblazer, innovator and a visionary. 

His diverse background will help him navigate through difficult and challenging times. Throughout his career, he has served in several capacities. These include Director of Respiratory Care at a California hospital and CEO of a western California college. Kumar also started a medical care center, and a medical equipment rental company where he is currently the Director of Marketing. He has been affiliated with the American Heart Association, American Lung Association and the Air Quality Management District.  His credentials, qualification and experience are no doubt enough to match any challenge or situation he may face. 

A visionary with a passion for people, Rudy Kumar could be the person to bring unparallel changes to Clovis. Rudy Kumar’s desire is to bring changes to Clovis that will propel the city into the 21^st Century. With his array of experience, Clovis can expect significant changes that will help it become the paradise of the Southwest. 

Uniting both the rich and poor, the Democrats and Republicans, the soldier and the civilian. As a veteran of the army he will honor the airmen at Cannon Air Force Base. Understanding the unique need for rest and recreation Kumar will create an oasis that will permeate this area with economic development and progress to celebrate the city with unlimited activities.

 
As the new kid on the block he has not been influenced or contaminated by any special interest groups or the privileged few. Kumar is a man of faith, who will fight for all the people of Clovis.  

Rudy Kumar is the new face of Clovis who represents progress and change. During his time in Clovis Kumar has identified several needs in the community that he will work toward as Mayor. His proposals as Mayor are as follows. 

1. Build a mega mall.

2. Build a sports arena.

3. Build a larger skateboard park.

4. Build a drag strip for motor sports.

5. Build an adult day care center.

6. Build a dog park.

7. Build a youth activity center.

8. Remodel hotel Clovis to its old glory.
